Gramma StormKudos for a wonderful intro to your presentation. As a mom who breastfed all my children, for differing lengths of time - anywhere from 3 mos (then husband wanted me to stop) to 3 1/2 years (highly allergic baby), I am convinced that only when we have free and open breastfeeding in public will we be doing what is best for baby.
So many points in the intro hit home ... especially the "My baby sister doesn't like to eat in the bathroom. Do you?" I am not the only one in my circle of friends that has been asked to breastfeed my child in the restroom. I often wonder how people dare to ask that. Would they like to take their dinner in the bathroom? It is probably my worst pet peeve.
