How beautiful!! Thank you for sharing your story. I had an unintentional home birth with my second child. I was in labor for two and a half hours. The hospital was a mile away but apperently, still too far. My husband delivered our second daughter and the paramedics came AFTER she was born. My older daughter, then four, saw the whole birth and was blown away by it. She very protective of "her baby". It's been two years now and I still remember it all so clearly. Greetings Jen. I was so blessed by seeing your birth. It's an amazing joy to have support like that. My 6 children were all born at home and nursed extended times. I wanted to be a midwife so badly but back in the late 70's they were trying to cause them a lot of trouble and my husband (ex) wouldn't allow it. I got to attend 17 besides my own and each one was such a love story... thank you so much for sharing such an intimate time with us. ~Amber
